In 2005, Breezy Hill got "stung" by the bee fever after a beech tree that had died from home construction was cut down and filled the sky with angry bees. From there, they decided to try beekeeping. They started using products made from the hive, such as the bees wax, propolis and honey to make candles, soaps and salves. This also became a plentiful source of honey for making mead. Enough so that the batch sizes increased tenfold due to the availability of honey. Several batches later with different honeys, yeasts, and increased size proved that not only was the process repeatable but also that making batches in the 100 gallon range would be the ideal size based on the Class A Winery licensing. | |

Medieval combat is as much about mental and emotional discipline as it is about physical and even spiritual training. These life lessons are aimed to sharpen the mind, body, and spirit, by leading with the knowledge for discipline, and historical/ physical education. |
